Star Gravity works without an account. This page describes exactly what data the app and website process, in line with how the code actually works.
You do not register. No email, phone number or third-party login is collected. The app is identified by a random token generated on our server — it contains no name, contact or identity.
• Device data: the random token, platform (e.g. Android), app language, app version, first/last-seen timestamps.
• Anonymous usage events: counters such as "a chart was created" or "an ad was shown", tied only to the token. They never contain names, cities or message contents.
• Quota counters: how many free readings you used per day.
• Reports (only if you send one): the content you report, kept until deletion is requested.
Your birth data is stored on your device. It reaches our servers only when you create a share link: then the minimal fields needed to render that link are stored (both people’s birth date, time, city coordinates and timezone; a name/nickname is optional).
When you use the AI feature, we send a compact table of planetary positions (for example "sun in Cancer 16.1°") to our AI language-model provider to generate your reading. Names, cities and birth dates are never sent — people are labelled "A" and "B".
The app shows ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect the advertising ID and related data under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). Ad frequency limits are enforced on our side with anonymous counters.
In-app purchases (the subscription and the AI credit pack) are handled by Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment under its own terms; we never store any payment card or bank details. On our side we only keep the purchase state (plan, expiry date, status and your credit balance) and verify it against Google Play. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Google Play (your account → Payments & subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals but keeps the subscription active until the current period ends; a refund issued by Google ends the subscription immediately.
Share links are deleted automatically after 180 days. Usage events and quota counters are kept while the app is in use and can be deleted by you at any time (see below). Reported content is kept only as long as needed for safety review.
In the app: Settings → Delete cloud data. This instantly removes your shares, usage events, quota counters, subscription and purchase records, AI credit balance and reports from our servers. You can also request deletion by writing to the contact below.
We do not sell your data. We do not require an account. We do not use your data to track you across other apps or websites.
Star Gravity is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
This page is updated whenever data practices change, with a new "last updated" date. Questions or deletion requests: privacy@thinhonir.com
